Faith Formation

Faith Formation is a lifelong process that is gradual and regular.
It is about recognizing the invitation by Christ
to come and follow Him – an invitation at every stage of life.

Children Formation Catechesis of the
Good Shepherd

Mission: To foster a community where children and adults live together a religious experience which facilitates participation in the wider community of the family, the church and other social spheres.

Activities: Children and catechists meet weekly to meditate with themes from Scripture and the Liturgy and to pray through work with specially designed materials in a peaceful environment.

RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Mission: To help you understand the basic way of Catholic life, we first offer the Inquiry Class. These sessions do not bind or commit you to membership in the Catholic faith. This is the preparation stage and will vary time-wise depending on the participant and on God’s call in his or her life.

Activities: Our sessions reflect on Scripture, Church teachings, and a variety of related topics – all in preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist normally at Easter of that year.

Youth Formation

Mission: To assist parents in forming their children to become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. We wish to empower our young people to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ by drawing them into active participation in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.

Activities: Teens encounter Christ through the Eucharist and through fellowship with one another in sports and games.

Adult Formation

Mission: To provide parishioners with an opportunity to gather and learn about their faith and tradition. It is a complete initiation into the life of the Church as a way of forming a Christian conscience and a desire to act as Christ’s hands and feet in the world.

Let’s build something together.
